? Running for the Dogs: Philadelphia Half Marathon 2026

On November 21, 2026, I’ll be running the Philadelphia Half Marathon — 13.1 miles for a cause that means a lot to me: Canine Companions (part of DogFest Washington DC 2026).

I’m taking on this challenge to raise money for Canine Companions, an organization that changes lives by providing expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge..

Dogs have an incredible ability to make our lives better. They bring companionship, independence, confidence, and an unconditional kind of love that is hard to put into words. That’s what makes the work of Canine Companions so meaningful to me.

These amazing dogs aren’t just pets — they are highly trained partners who help people live more independently and experience opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.

So, on November 21st, I’ll be trading the couch for 13.1 miles through Philadelphia (and probably questioning that decision somewhere around mile 10 ?).

I’m asking you to join me in supporting this incredible organization.

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps Canine Companions continue its mission and bring more life-changing service dogs to the people who need them.
