Why I'm Walking

I'm walking because I believe we all need to do our part to help find a cure and to stop the stigma that's associated with HIV/AIDS. We have all lost someone to AIDS, and with too many politicians taking away vital resources from those who need the help, we have to STAND UP and do what we can.

Hawaii Health Harm and Reduction Center (HHHRC) has stepped up year after year. By making a donation, you can be sure it will keep the money here in Hawaii for those that need it the most. We can't rely on the government to do what they should for our people -- our 'ohana.

This is why I'm proud to be the team captain for The Aloha Bears as we participate in the 35th Honolulu AIDS Walk on June 27th at Kapiolani  Park.

If you can join us on the walk, please register as a walker and join the The Aloha Bears Team (you can make an optional donation and then reach out to people to donate towards your page). If you're unable to walk, please donate what you can; and it's true, every little bit helps. My personal goal is $200 and our Team goal is $1500. You can also think about registering as a volunteer. HHRC is always looking for help.

Remember -- SILENCE IS NOT AN OPTION!!!
