Dear Family & Friends,

On Saturday October 17, 2026, the 12th annual James Foley Freedom 5k will take place at the James Foley Community Center in Rochester, NH.  Hundreds will walk or run the course that day in NH, many more the following week in Washington, DC and hundreds will choose to participate virtually all around the US and world throughout the month of October.

So many of you have been staunch supporters of this race and the James Foley Foundation since the very beginning, and we can't thank you enough. You have made a real difference.  I'm asking you  once again to support this race and Jim's foundation and to continue his legacy.  In the words of Jim's mother, Diane Foley, founder and president of the James Foley Legacy Foundation:  "Jim believed deeply in the power of courageous journalism, and through the Freedom Run/Walk we honor that legacy while supporting efforts to bring Americans home and protect those who risk their lives to keep the public informed."
