Hello and welcome! We are Sam and Zoey Wells, and we are so glad you are here.
This is my, Zoey's, second year as a Biking for Babies missionary and I absolutely love this mission. Two years ago at the national SEEK conference I passed by a whiteboard asking, "what would you die for?" and without thinking, I wrote, "babies." Minutes later, I encountered Biking for Babies at a booth and God very clearly stirred my heart to apply to become a missionary. This year, I choose to return because Biking for Babies gives such a clear and actionable opportunity to take part in the renewal of the culture of life for all people, and I love that! I also feel a close connection with the heart of the mission which upholds and supports Pregnancy Resource Centers because my momma needed support when she had my sister and I. I feel blessed to give some service and love back to the babies and the mommas.
And I, Sam, have also been passionate about the Biking for Babies movement for about 4 years now, as I encountered the organization in 2022. When I passed by their booth at a different SEEK conference, before meeting my wife Zoey, I saw that they had a 1-minute burnout bicycle challenge, which I agreed to. After the challenge, I learned about their mission and kept it with me as something that I'd love to do one day, and now it's that time. Because of my wife's love and passion for the movement, some of that has rubbed off on me, and I am so excited to go on this journey with her. I also have a great love for biking, which is something I picked up from my mother and my older brother. I have visited pregnancy resource centers, which has allowed me to see firsthand how this mission can positively affect the lives of people who are going through the process of becoming parents. I am so happy that this organization exists because what we do is crucial for the growth of the culture of life. I can’t wait to go on this ride and meet like-minded brothers and sisters in Christ!
