Mary Anderson

Hello and welcome to my Biking for Babies fundraising page! My name is Mary Anderson and I am a first year missionary rider from Connecticut. I was raised Catholic my entire life and I serve as a cantor and choir member at my church. I greatly enjoy singing, playing guitar, volunteering, traveling, and exercising. I'm so thrilled to be part of this amazing journey and to grow closer to Christ. 

I chose to become a missionary as a prayer for the conversion of those who support a culture of death and for an increase of awareness that there is help for women undergoing unexpected pregnancies. I felt the Lord calling me to become more active in the pro life movement and to spread the message to others that abortion is not the answer. After spending time in prayer and listening to many words of encouragement from missionaries, I gave a firm yes. I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to bring awareness of the pro life movement and to spread the Gospel through uniting my suffering with Christ and utilizing it as a prayer offering for our women undergoing unexpected pregnancies. 

Biking for Babies seeks to renew the culture of life by forming young adults into missionary disciples of Christ. We serve as witnesses to life by participating in the National Ride in various parts of the country and partnering with various pregnancy resource centers. As part of the mission, I will be partnering with Hope Pregnancy Resource Center.
