Hi! Welcome to my fundraising page! My name is Emma, I am 26, and I am excited to take part in the Biking for Babies mission as a biker. I believe that human life is a precious gift from God, and that each of us are called to experience His love in a unique way at the exact time He calls us. That is why I am taking part in the mission to help support pregnant mothers in choose life for their little ones.
Chester County Connect Care (CCCC) is one of many amazing oganizations that offers resources to women in crisis pregnancies through their pregnancy journey and beyond. For 41 years, they have been providing medical care, parenting courses, baby supplies, and so much more. As a Biking for Babies missionary my goal is to raise awareness an funds for centers like CCCC so they can continue their service to mothers, babies, and their families in this way.
This July, I will be biking alongside 3 others and 2 support crew members from Raleigh, North Carolina to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to raise funds and renew a culture that supports life. The National Ride consists of biking 600 milies in 6 days- which sounds daunting and something I would not expect to be doing! But in saying YES to this mission and entering into the unknown, I am taking a risk with courage, which is also what these mothers have to to when they say YES to Life! This ride will allow me to rely on my teammates and support crew, as well as rely on God in a new way, and through that I hope to experience His love deeper than before, and pray that these mothers can also lean on His strength with courage in what they are going through.
My sister has been a missionary with this Biking for Babies for the last 5 years, and I have noticed the relationships and bonds that come from it. I believe that is attributed to going through this challenge as a group, and offering each other encouragement, serving one another, and experiencing something new together which is another reason why I wanted to get involved!
