2022 Charlotte, NC Barefoot Mile

Walk a mile in solidarity with impoverished and trafficked children to raise funds for JOY International, a global non-profit organization based in Conifer, Colorado. JOY International is dedicated to the rescue, restoration and reintegration of children, teens and young women affected by trafficking and the prevention of child trafficking worldwide.

Join the fight for freedom by registering to walk today! Registering is free and opens the door for you to raise funds for the event individually or as a team.

You can walk virtually at any time and anywhere or in-person at the event on September 10, 2022.

This is a fun family event! Feel free to bring a picnic, camping chairs, or a picnic banket to share with your family.

Start on Steele Creek Road/NC-160.
Turn onto Sledge Road at the stoplight.
Take the first right onto Winget Road.
Turn right at the painted rock into the Winget Park Elementary School Bus Lot and park.

Or, continue down Winget Road to the entrance of Winget Park. At the stop sign, turn right into the
Winget Park Elementary School/Winget Park parking lot.
