Welcome to my fundraising page for HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer! When you support the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance through registration or a donation to my HOM Teal Strides page, you help fund critical research and programming for women and families impacted by ovarian cancer. 
 

As many of you know my journey with cancer began 20 years ago after the birth of my son. At that time I thought I would be preparing to leave behind a newborn...flash forward to today and I'm preparing for his 21st birthday in Vegas a day I wasn't always sure I would be here to experience.  What has kept me focused when the path has been arduous has been the love and support of family and friends and the dedication and persistence of my medical team.

During my journey I have experienced the advancement in medicine and know the importance of continued research. I have also learned the importance of early detection and education. This is why I support organizations like MOCA not only for what they do in regards to funding research but in what they do to educate and bring awareness as well as what they do to bring quality to the lives of women and their families living with cancer.
