Lace up your shoes and join the fun! 

Whether you run, walk or roll, get ready for an unforgettable day! Choose your challenge between our 5K or free One-Mile Fun Run, starting at the Nemours Children’s Health Specialty Care Center in downtown Jacksonville. Enjoy the course that takes you past the scenic St. Johns River and through the charming streets of San Marco.  

Every step you take helps a child heal. Proceeds benefit the Nemours Children’s Compassionate Care Fund, supporting our world‑class care for kids. Raise $5,000 or more, and you can direct your donation to the Nemours Children’s department of your choice in Jacksonville.  

Don’t miss the Runner’s Village with food and beverages to refuel the whole family, lively music and goodies from our generous sponsors. Check out our thrilling Kid Zone with games, face painting and more! We expect 1,000 runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes, and cheerleaders of all ages, please be one of them! Individuals and teams are welcome. Registered participants will receive a race shirt and finisher’s medal. Medals will be handed out at the finish line while supplies last.

Early Bird registration closes on June 21 at 5 p.m. 

After June 21:

Race Schedule:

The 5K and One-Mile Fun Run races will start at Nemours Children’s Clinic on Children’s Way. 

7 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. Race-day registration.

*If you are registering on site, please visit the Registration tent located at the entrance of the Runner’s Village. Participants will also need to pick up their race packets at the Registration tent if they have not already done so.  

8 a.m.: 5K start 

8:45 a.m.: 5K awards ceremony 

9:00 a.m.: Fun Run start and stage announcements

10:30 a.m.: Closing announcements  

11 a.m.: Event concludes. Thank you for your support!

Start a Team:  

Create a team and invite your friends and family to join. You can also join an existing team or participate as an individual. Teams that raise $5,000 or more can designate their funds to support a department of their choice at Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville.

Your participation in the Nemours Children’s Health Run & Walk in Delaware Valley will benefit our Compassionate Care Fund which ensures that we have the flexibility to meet the greatest needs of families, follow the most promising research breakthroughs and meet new and evolving community needs.

The Compassionate Care Fund touches every hospital department — from critical care to rehabilitation to emotional support services.

Support from the fund allows Nemours to innovate, advocate, and serve families in ways that traditional insurance does not cover.
