Race Schedule:  

7 - 7:45 a.m.: Race-day registration

*If you are registering on site, please visit the Registration tent located at the entrance of the Runner’s Village. Participants will also need to pick up their race packets at the Registration tent if they have not already done so.  

8 - 11 a.m.: Event activities in the Runner's Village

8:00 a.m.: 5K Start 

8:45 a.m.: 5K Awards ceremony

9 a.m.: One Mile-Fun Run Start and stage announcements

10:30 a.m.: Closing announcements 

11 a.m.: Event concludes. Thank you for your support!

Please note: All 5K and One-mile Fun Run participants will receive a race bib. Only 5K participants will receive a bib with a timing chip. Registered participants will also receive a race shirt and finisher’s medal. Medals will be handed out at the finish line while supplies last.   

Photography will be taken at the event. By attending the Nemours Children's Health Run & Walk, Jacksonville, you acknowledge that you agree to allow Nemours Children’s to use the photography as we see fit, without compensation.

Fundraise: 

It’s not too late to fundraise! To maximize the impact of your fundraising efforts, don’t forget to share the link to your personal fundraising page with friends and family. Funds raised will benefit the Nemours Children’s Compassionate Care Fund, which restores the health of critically ill and injured children wherever the need is greatest. Please note: Teams that raise $5,000 or more can designate their funds to support a department of their choice.

Create a team and invite your friends and family to join. You can also join an existing team or participate as an individual. Teams that raise $5,000 or more can designate their funds to support a department of their choice at Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville.

How it Works: 

Step 1: Register 

Choose from one of the four participant categories: community member, Nemours Children’s associate, company, or organization. 

Choose your race: 5K or One-Mile Fun Run. 

Start a team or join individually. Your team can be any size — recruit family and friends. The bigger your team, the more you can raise to help sick and injured children! 

If you are participating on an existing team, simply search and click on the team name to join. 

Please Note: Registered participants will receive a race shirt. Medals will be handed out at the finish line while supplies last.   

Step 2: Fundraising 

Every step you take helps a child heal. Proceeds benefit the Nemours Children’s Compassionate Care Fund, supporting our world‑class care for kids. Raise $5,000 or more, and you can direct your impact to the Nemours Children’s department of your choice in Jacksonville. Check out these great tips to kick-start your fundraising efforts. 

Step 3: Run, Walk or Roll Together 

On Saturday, November 21, we will gather at the Nemours Children’s Health Specialty Care Center in downtown Jacksonville for an exciting morning with family and friends for a great cause! Enjoy fun family activities and music in our Runners Village and bring your community spirit! We’ll see you at the starting line and celebrate your finish!
