I have grown up in Polk County graduating from WHHS, received my Eagle Scout from Troop 525 at Grace Luthern Church, attended PCC and served 6 years in the Navy. After returning to Polk County I settled in Lakeland were I have managed multiple retail and service companies. I am currently co-owner and President of Heartland Commercial Pool Services Inc. in Lakeland and President of the Board of Directors for Camp Fire Central Florida. I am blessed to be married to Trina Kingery and to have 2 wonderful sons. . 

   So why participate and race in the Swan Derby and raise monies for LVIM? I have employed over a 1000 people in Polk County over the last 30 years. I have seen first hand how so many of our fellow friends and families struggle each day without proper medical care. That is were LVIM comes into the picture. They fill a gap for the willing, hard working citizens of Polk that either do not get insurance through their employer or can not afford to pay for it on their own.
