Donate today to help VMP reach its goal of training 2000 mentors in the 2016-17 school year!
There are thousands of kids in our communities who are in need of a mentor--a caring, trusted adult to be there for them along life's path.
For their return to the classroom, kids stock their backpacks with new notebooks and pens. In preparing for the school year, mentors need a back-to-school supply kit of their own!
Virginia Mentoring Partnership provides mentors with training, coaching and tools to help kids navigate the ups and downs of today's world. From communicating with your mentee and developing relationships, to setting boundaries and setting goals, VMP's training will give you the basics of being a great mentor.
We have a goal to train 2000 mentors this school year on the basics and the best practices, so that more young people in Virginia who need a mentor will have a mentor.
Help us reach this goal in time for the 2016-17 Back to School season!
