In january of 2020 my amazing, beautiful,smart, unique little boy was born. We will put emphasis on unique bc as time went on he was def "different" then alot of kids his age. he was late to some goals but met them all up until 18 months. At that time i had seen a video of a little girl with autism that was posted from when she was my sons age titled "early signs of autism". It was like watching my beautiful boy but it wasnt him. That was my 1st realization that some of the stuff he was doing was "different" and not age appropriate behaviors. Well after soeaking with his ped and scoring high probabilty on the questionaire thats when our journey for answers began. Then 6 months later right before his 2nd bday we got them. My beautiful boy was diagnosed on december 3, 2021, and thats when our fight for acceptance and understanding begun.
