I'm supporting this walk to help students who are blind or visually impaired fulfill their dreams of a college education.  ACB provides several scholarships to help make the dream of higher education a reality for students who are blind or visually impaired. This can help so they will have an equal chance to succeed professionally in the jobs of the future.  I'm supporting this walk because during the Pandemic, we've seen what being virtually connected to each other in a time of isolation, lockdowns, shelter in place and other orders means.  Contributions you make will allow ACB to connect more people so they can learn, socialize and have fun even after the Pandemic is over.  I also support this walk because as we move forward, people who are blind or visually impaired continue to face easily correctable accessibility obstacles that make it harder for them to do everything from ordering a meal to voting.  ACB will use your contributions to help make sure people like me who are blind or visually impaired will have equal access to all that modern society has to offer.
