ACB Diabetics in Action Sugar Warriors

ACB Diabetics in Action is a special interest affiliate of the American Council of the Blind. We welcome anyone who is over 16 years of age, a diabetic, friend or family of a diabetic, or anyone interested in working with and/advocating for diabetics who are blind or visually impaired.

 

Goals of ACBDA are to…

Provide educational resources

Provide a discussion email forum about blindness, diabetes, and coping with the effects of both

Advocate and work with manufacturers of medical equipment to help make them fully accessible

Hold monthly conference calls to provide support and education

Deliver periodic newsletters in an accessible format to the membership

Hold an annual meeting at the ACB national convention
