Based off our SQ size and rank, we have been given a goal of $1,149.03. I will not be pressuring anyone to give in order to meet this goal. This is a completely voluntary donation, and in my opinion, it is one of the better fundraisers we do for ourselves. This a “for us by us” campaign to help out fellow military members.
Different than the CFC, these funds essentially go to four main areas: Surviving spouses of retired enlisted (Air Force Enlisted Village), surviving spouses of retired officers (Air Force Villages Charitable Foundation), the Lemay foundation (in short a combination of the first two), and active duty airmen (officer and enlisted) who are going through extremely challenging life circumstances (Air Force Aid Society).
