I am so blessed to be a part of the Alatheia Family and on Team Kjeks (pronounced SHECKS) for our Annual Horse Race Fundraiser!  Working at Alatheia has added so much joy in my life and given me opportunities to be a part of life changing events on a day-to-day basis.  It has also helped me to grow personally in so many ways, I cannot even begin to count.  From the riders and volunteers, to my new co-worker family, I have met a tremendous amount of incredible humans...all because of Alatheia Riding Center!

This year, we were unable to host our two main events, the Little Black Dress Party and the Run for the Roses Gala.  Those two events bring in roughly 60% of our annual operating budget.  Our hope is that through this virtual fundraiser, we will be able to make up some of that difference, as well as help to spread the word about the incredible work that goes on here at Alatheia and how amazing our herd of horses is! 

I am on Team Kjeks - he is the baby of the herd and can be so mischevious sometimes.  Always keeping us on our toes, just like a toddler!  Kjeks is not a part of the program just yet, because he is still too young.  But someday soon, he too will carry riders upon his back and begin changing lives as well!  Until then, our older horses will mentor him and we will continue to train him and teach him how to become an Alatheia Riding Center Therapuetic Horse!
