Kjeks, meaning "Biscuit" in Norwegian, is the baby of the Alatheia herd.  Kjeks, is playful, mischevious, and smart!  Like a toddler, he wants to be in the middle of everything all the time - an "in your lap" kinda guy.  He's been under the tutelage of his older Uncles Rikky and Blakken who are/were the models of everything desired in a therapy horse.  At only two years old, Kjeks still has much to learn before entering our therapeutic riding program.  Kjeks will start his training under saddle in the winter of 2020/2021.  Until then he is learning how to be led using a halter and lead rope, put a bit in his mouth and become accustomed to the props (balls, rings, musical instruments) used in therapuetic riding.  At his current age he is a perfect addition to our Warriors & Horses mental health program where he works with combat veterans.  Kjeks represents the future of Alatheia and will touch many lives in his work here.
