Every week in Central Virginia, 1-2 kids are diagnosed with cancer. ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation's mission is to make their lives better by providing Assistance, Support and Kindness when kids and their families need it most. ​​From the moment of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, ASK is there to help, whether it be something as simple as a free parking pass for a family so they can be at their loved one's bedside, couseling services for our teens who are making the transition back into "the real world" after cancer treatment, or something as special as a complete and total room makeover for a kid who is coming home for the first time after spending months in the hospital. You can help too, by making a monetary donation. This year I am running in honor of the kiddos I have lost, to support Eleanor's Entourage, and to bring hope to all others currently fighting. While cancer is a nasty beast, it has allowed me to meet and establish the most special relationships with these children and their families. Join our fight.
