This year I have had the honor to serve on staff for the Beat Bama Food Drive. This experience has truly shown me how blessed I am to have a meal on the table. Something we don't think about often because it's second nature to stop by Chipotle or Kroger to pick up what you need. However, that is not the case for everyone. 66,000 people in the Lee County area are food insecure. This means they have no idea where their next meal is going to come from. With Thanksgiving coming up it breaks my heart to know that some people won't have the privilage to sit down and have a nutritous, yummy meal. That's where YOU come in to play. $1 = 7 meals! A little goes a long way and I can't want to see us fill the Food Bank of East Alabama. Help me reach my goal of $250.. actually let's surpass that!
