This year’s Bark on the Boards isn’t just a great event, it’s a movement for compassion, hope, and lifesaving change. With your help, we can go even further to create a community where every animal has a safe and loving home.

This year I am raising money to help all the animals in our shelter find home. Every little bit I can do for these furry babies helps them in ways people cant imagine. In my two years working at the animal rescue center I have seen a lot of good things and I've seen a lot of sad things. The good is always when you get a dog or cat into a loving home especially after what some of them have been through. From hoarding cases to cruelty case. From being found as a stray to having to be surrendered due to unforeseen circumstances. Every animal in a shelter deserves a second chance and all someone has to do is just give them that chance they are looking for. I have worked with dogs that have been completely shut down from previous home life and worked with them for hours and hours to get them to the point where they trust people again. From working with these dogs and seeing how they go from being that scared little baby sitting in the back of their kennel to being bouncy playful bundles of joy. Anything and everything helps keep these wonderful animals in our care happy and healthy.
