When I met The Maloney-Day family Salem was 9 months old. He was just a little baby learning to sit up. Since then I have spent countless hours with this family. I have watched Salem, also lovingly known as Bubbie, grow and learn and become the beautiful little toddler he is today. 
Bubbie and my daughter are best friends. They are discovering the world together. They are teaching the world that they are more alike then different. Even as toddlers they can teach us so much about inclusion. 
My family and myself will walk be walking for Salem this year! We know how important it is to raise awareness about Down Syndrome as it is a huge part of our life.
