Hi, I'm Owen and I'm 12. On May 3rd I'm competing in my second Kids Triathlon, and this year I'm taking on the longer course. Honestly, the swim has me a little nervous since I'm right in the middle of soccer season and haven't had as much time in the pool as I'd like. But I'm going for it anyway, because this race is about something way bigger than me.

I'm raising money for families with kids going through cancer treatment. Those families are dealing with something so much harder than a long swim, and I want to do whatever I can to help.
