I am participating in the Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research. I am doing this in honor of my favorite heart Warrior, my nephew Charlie. Charlie was born with a heart defect and thanks to amazing doctors and researchers he is finishing first grade and is a thriving almost 7 year old.
