It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of George Moyer's passing on December 30, 2023. George was a one-of-a-kind individual whose vibrant personality lit up every room he entered. His deep interest in people, coupled with a lifelong dedication to athletics, made him an extraordinary soul. George was not only hardworking but also someone who approached life with unwavering dedication.

This past summer, George faced a formidable adversary – Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD). Despite his incredible willpower and determination, CJD proved to be a challenge that transcends personal strength alone.

In honor of George's spirit, we have initiated this fundraiser to contribute to prion disease studies. By supporting research and advancements in the understanding of CJD, we aim to provide others with a better fighting chance against this devastating illness.

A Legacy of Love and Resilience

George's legacy lives on in the memories of those who knew and loved him. Your support will help ensure that his spirit of determination and love for life continues to make a difference in the lives of others.
