What is a goal but a miserable pile of words?

Oh no. Oh, no. Iori's writing a novel.

We're in the zero draft, so my focus is less on word count and more on getting a foundation laid down. The optimistic goal is a chapter per week--a thin scrappy fighter who'll build better muscles in the revisions process later.

By the end of the Write-a-Thon I hope to launch my unnamed protagonist from the drudgery of space capitalism to a slightly higher, more emotionally fraught tier of space capitalism.
