My challenge: complete one million steps between Nov 1 and Dec 24.

I have CMT. CMT1X in particular. I was diagnosed a few years ago after a lifetime of slowly progressing symptoms (my symptoms are now progressing much quicker). During my diagnosis I did a lot (and I mean a LOT) of research. I was blown away by the advancement of medical technologies but severly dissapointed to see that much of it was not being applied to CMT. Even though CMT is almost the perfect condition for much of the new technologies available to us. This made me so angry. I was so frustrated to see the lack of progress and available treatments. But CMT has for a long time been very underfunded.

I want a treatment now. I don't want to wait a day longer than I have to. I want to live life without this terrifiying progression. I want to live life without the fear of my future. The CMT Research Foundation is ensuring that I will have at least one treatment option within my lifetime. They have one single focus: find treatments for CMT with our lifetimes. They won't stop until they do so.
