1.4 million North Carolinians rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for access to food. Beginning November 1, these benefits will be paused, putting people at risk for food insecurity. Here in Forsyth County, close to 30,000 children rely on these benefits. As a pediatrician and mom of two growing boys, I know how important it is to have a reliable source of nutrition to allow children to thrive. Join us as we raise funds for this incredibly important cause.
