The Lord has used people with developmental disabilities in multiple seasons of my life to more clearly reveal his character. His love. His justice. His grace.
These people who the world so often marginalizes and overlooks are nonetheless created in God's image. Their physical and/or cognitive limitations don't alter this identity in the least. And as I interact with David's House residents on a daily basis, I so beautifully see a representation of how the Lord desires for all of us to live in relation to him. To trust him, be present and have no fear about what the future holds.
