I'm participating in DogFest North Central because I believe in Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge. I am a 16 time puppy raiser for this organization and have witnessed the difference these dogs make in the lives of their teammates.
I am currently raising Picasso, a yellow lab/golden cross who is just starting his journey to becoming a Service Dog. I also have another pup who entered Professional Training 2/7/25, her name is Monet and she is a full golden retriever. Monet learned house manners, basic obedience and was socialized while with me. She will now be evaluated and taught advanced cues she will use to perform tasks for people with disabiities if she completes the program. Skipper, a pup I raised graduated in November 2024 as a successor Service Dog with a lovely young lady who loves him dearly. I am passionate about this organization, their mission, the exceptional dogs and the people. Please help me reach my fundraising goal so more of these amazing Canince Companions Service Dogs can be placed with people who need them.
