Epilepsy affects more people than many realize: 1 out of every 26 individuals will develop epilepsy during their lifetime. On Long Island alone, more than 35,000 people are living with epilepsy, and countless family members, caregivers, friends, and advocates are impacted every day.
An epilepsy diagnosis can bring challenges, uncertainty, and isolation. Together, we can change that.
Join the Epilepsy Foundation Long Island as we walk for the 1 in 26 in 2026 and help ensure that everyone affected by epilepsy has access to the support, education, and community they deserve.
