Private donations are critical to addressing the escalating challenges of food insecurity, homelessness, and transportation—barriers that affect one-third of our daily patient visits. They play an indispensable role in transforming lives, providing a lifeline for individuals facing the harsh realities of hunger, homelessness, and transportation struggles, enabling them to access urgently needed medical care.
We serve as a beacon of hope for 23,000 individuals annually, many living below the Federal Poverty Level. During 2023 we delivered the following services:
Food Insecurtiy: Our Food for Life Food Pantry distributed over 24,809 bags of groceries, equivalent to 520,989 meals. Additionally, we provided 875 individuals with $50 food vouchers.
Housing: Our Emergency Assistance Fund, combined with other funding, provided vital support to over 1,300 patients and their families, addressing rental, mortgage, and utility needs to empower housing stability—a critical determinant of physical and mental health.
Transportation: Transportation is a major obstacle to accessing healthcare. More than 5,300 urgent transportion rides were provided to Care Resource patients. We prioritize rapid rides for health, ensuring no one misses the care they need.
Join us in making a lasting impact on the overall health and well-being of our patients. Your support to the Emergency Assistance Fund is a direct investment in creating a healthier and more resilient community.
