This is one of the best programs that we know of that is making an impact in reducing stillbirth rates by spreading awareness about kick counting, which can be the difference between noticing your baby's lack of movement in time to save them or missing their distress signs. Please donate any amount you can or join our team to help us fundraise and keep saving babies in honor of our son Owen Nathaniel Vick, who was born silently during a crash c-section delivery at 32 weeks. I always regret not going in sooner, although I did everything right by trying to notice his movements that night and calling the emergency room to ask if I should come in. They delayed me further by telling me to eat and keep kick counting another hour, which was a mistake. I should have gone in immediately and followed my intuition. Like many parents of stillborns, we were having a "healthy" textbook pregnancy and were not well informed about the importance of kick counting to be in tune with your baby's normal patterns (not just get to a certain number of kicks), so now it is our mission to make sure everyone knows how to properly kick count and ultimatley can take their baby home.
