Challenge + matching gifts alert! Past FAER grantee Roger Johns has catapulted Johns Hopkins into the Academic Giving Competition with a $5,000 gift and is challenging us all to match it!
One we hit $10,000, our Director and fellow FAER grantee Danny Muehlschlegel will match all donations made up to another $5,000! Let's get to $20,000!
We all know the enormous value research provides to our field. And the importance of ensuring a strong pipeline of researchers ready to move anesthesiology and medicine forward.
In pursuit of that goal, every year FAER awards over $3 million in grants and sponsors more than 100 student fellows and resident scholars!
Our department has received 33 grants from FAER totaling over $2.5 million! On top of this, we’ve proudly hosted six medical students for FAER anesthesiology research fellowships since 2012.
In addition to Roger, some of the Johns Hopkins grantees include Tina Doshi, Eellan Sivanesan, and Kate Rosenblatt…among others!
