Thank you for helping our team to honor our former teamate, Eve Fries, and for making a difference in the lives of kids and families battling pediatric cancers.

BeliEve

Eve Fries fell in love with softball at an early age at Little Gompers Park in Chicago. She continued to play at Gompers Park, then through travel teams and finally at Lane Tech where she made JV her freshman year. Together with her good friend, Stella Brobson, they won the city championship in 2019.

Unfortunately, Eve was diagnosed with a rare and terminal brain tumor, DIPG. After two years of treatments and travel all around the country for cures, she succumbed to the disease in 2021, two months shy of her 18th birthday.

Although her voice, her mobility, and her life were taken…her light shines on with the work we do with her foundation.
