I continue to support the Great Lafayette Hunger Hike in order to help the people in the Haitian village of Baudin. I have been working with St. Thomas Aquinas Church of West Lafayette to alleviate hunger, provide medical care, and education for people in that community. No U.S. medical team has been able to attend to the people of Baudin since 2020. However, we have continued to send a team of Haitian physicians and nurses to the area. Given the gang violence even this is not easy. In spite of this, the Haiti team from St. Thomas Aquinas Church in West Lafayette continues to keep working to assist the people of Baudin. In addition to the medical program, we have a seed program to help the farmers increase yields and thus help decrease hunger. Also the schools in the community are supported. The Greater Lafayette Hunger Hike supports the St. Thomas Aquinas Haiti Mission, the Lafayette Urban Ministry and Food Finders Food Bank. Please help us continue this work.
