This is my 24th year working on the Hunger Hike. As Haiti is still in the firm grasp of the gangs that are terrorizing the country, St. Toms is in its 6th year of not being able to travel to our Sister Parish in Baudin. BUT our commitment to our brothers and sisters in Baudin, and Haiti in general, remains strong. This very important fundraiser allows us to maintain the programs and provide support to our community in Baudin as well as support the very needed work being done by Lafayette Urban Ministry and Food Finders Food Bank in our local community.
