Hello everyone my name is Ian Brown and I am a Histiocytosis warrior. I was diagnosed with Histiocytosis at a very young age and went through years of treatment. Thankfully after many years of chemotherapy I am now in my 15th year of remission. During my chemotherapy my parents found the Histiocytosis Association and it was a tremendous help. Our family was connected with other families and resources to help us better navigate this difficult time.

The Histio Hike was started by my parents as a way to help further the connection of families and share resources for histiocytiosis. In partnership with the Histiocytosis Association the Histio Hike is now in its 17th year and has raised more than $973,000. This money has gone to many new research initiatives and outreach programs to help currently diagnosed people recover and connect with other patients. We hopefully can count on your continued support and contributions to the Association and the Hike so we can help other families in need.
