Who can participate in Explore-a-thon?
People of all ages that want to help make a positive impact on our environment. We welcome everyone!
Can I participate as a part of a team?
Yes, teams of 2-10 people are allowed! You’ll still create your own fundraising web page, which will link to your team’s successes. If you’d like to enter as a family, you can do so either as an individual and add participants to your page or as a team.
Do I have to make my own fundraising page and raise more money or participate in a competition after I register?
Not at all! You can participate simply to support HVA and help protect and preserve the health of the Housatonic Valley.
How can someone donate to my team’s or my fundraising page?
Visit the event home page and search for a participant or team under the Housatonic Valley Association Leaderboard section.
I don’t have time to participate in Explore-a-thon but would still like to donate in support of the event. Is this possible?
Yes! Just click on the Donate tab or Donate Now button on the event homepage or text HVA to 50155. You can also submit an offline donation like a check by contacting us at hvaexploreathon@gmail.com.
Can my employer match my gifts?
Many businesses support the good work of their employees! Check with your Human Resources department to see if your company has a matching gift program.
Can my company sponsor Explore-a-thon?
