Now more than ever, food is a serious need in our region, where 1 in 10 individuals in Mercer County are hungry.
As Director of Development at JFCS, it's my responsibility every day to raise funds for all of JFCS' programs, including the food distribution programs. Wheels for Meals is a peer-to-peer fundraising event, and I want to do my part to help us reach our goal.

JFCS has seen a dramatic increase in demand for food programs. In the past 12 months, JFCS has:
- Distributed 22,690 bags of groceries via the onsite and mobile food pantries
- Delivered 5,460 meals to isolated and homebound seniors
- Served 4,875 hot lunches to seniors at a senior nutrition site
Event proceeds benefit all JFCS food distribution programs.
