Keshet Matters

Keshet has been part of our lives for the past 15 years. As a new director at Camp Chi in 2006, Jamie was introduced to how kids of all abilities can truly be included in overnight camp. Then a few years later, we saw firsthand how Keshet could be a lifeline for our friends whose children and grandchildren would need Keshet support to just attend school, go to day camp or be involved in after-school activities. Whether it is changing our perception of what overnight camp should be or hearing from our friends that this was the first time they felt hopeful for their children’s future, Keshet impacts not only the lives of people with disabilities and their families, but, also, our entire community.
