Help Me Save Homeless Animals

I will run so they can live

Donate To Kitten Rescue Today!

It all started 25 years ago, when I stumbled across an animal shelter in the San Fernando Valley. As I stood there crying at the site of the rows of homeless dogs in cages, a stranger's voice from behind me said “if it bothers you so much, do something about it”… so I did. I have dedicated my life to stopping the killing of homeless animals, through trap/neuter/return (TNR) and rescue/rehabilitation/placement of homeless animals. I will not stop until NO animal is EVER killed due to lack of a home.

I started volunteering with Kitten Rescue in 1998 because I believe in their mission. Kitten Rescue has the highest standards- from the medical care that they provide to the animals under their umbrella to the forever homes that they carefully screen. I have personally fostered and placed hundreds of animals and have TNR’d over a thousand cats.

The Kitten Rescue Nursery is a safe haven for orphaned, unweaned kittens. City Shelters do not have the staff or resources to take care of these fragile little babies, who need to be bottle fed every 2-4 hours for 4-5 weeks. If it were not for rescue groups to take on these “bottle babies”, these precious would be euthanized.

The Kitten Rescue Sanctuary is home to up to 150 special needs cats- and we have even more in foster care! Kitten Rescue says YES to senior cats and cats with medical needs that many other rescue groups would turn away.

In 2017 we launched Cats On Pawtrol, a program that saves feral cats from shelters and places them as “working cats”. This program is near and dear to my heart. I love seeing these cats get a second chance.

Kitten Rescue does so much to help the animals of Los Angeles. Please help them to continue to fight for the forgotten felines of Los Angeles by donating to my 5k today!
