Help Cristin Save More Kitties!

Here we go again :)

When I moved to California 6 years ago, I had absolutely no idea that two little, 2 pound, blue-eyed, balls of fluff would set me on such a completely different path in life.  Thanks to Lynx & Bear, I became aware of the sad fate that so many cats here in LA face.  I knew I wanted to try and do my little part to help.  I started volunteering with Kitten Rescue back in 2013 and have learned so much.  One of the important lessons I've learned - I am a terrible foster!  After foster-failing 4 times, I've realized I need to give back in different ways.  Hence, doing one of the things I like least in life - RUNNING!

Please help me save more kitties without adding to my clowder :)

The Kitten Rescue Nursery is a safe haven for orphaned, unweaned kittens. City Shelters do not have the staff or resources to take care of these fragile little babies, who need to be bottle fed every 2-4 hours for 4-5 weeks. If it were not for rescue groups to take on these “bottle babies”, these precious would be euthanized.

The Kitten Rescue Sanctuary is home to up to 150 special needs cats- and we have even more in foster care! Kitten Rescue says YES to senior cats and cats with medical needs that many other rescue groups would turn away.

In 2017 we launched Cats On Pawtrol, a program that saves feral cats from shelters and places them as “working cats”. This program is near and dear to my heart. I love seeing these cats get a second chance.
