Please join in and protect invertebrates today!

Butterflies, bees, dragonflies, beetles, spiders, freshwater mussels and other invertebrates sustain life as we know it. Yet many are declining due to habitat loss, pesticide use, climate change, and more. But there are steps that we can all take to help these vital animals and no action is too small. Please taking a stand for invertebrates today by making a donation to my fundraiser. Your support means the world to me, thank you!

Invertebrates matter to me because...

Insects play essential roles in ecosystems, including pollination, decomposition, and serving as a food source for other animals. Their decline can lead to cascading effects on biodiversity and disrupt food chains, affecting other species, including humans. Pollinators like bees are particularly critical for crop production, and their decline can have severe consequences for food security. Efforts to mitigate insect extinction include habitat restoration, reducing pesticide use, promoting sustainable farming practices, and raising awareness about the importance of insects in maintaining healthy ecosystems, and the Xeres Society is very successful in these pursuits!
