In Forest Park I've stubbed toes and twisted ankles, fallen forward and fallen backward. I've trained for races from 5k to 50M. I've found solace on the Firelanes and friendship on Leif. Like an old friend, the park and its trails have always adapted to what it thought I needed them to be at that moment in time, and for that I am forever grateful.
