On Sunday, March 23rd I’m participating in this year’s Mindfulness Challenge to raise funds for the Centre for Mindfulness Studies' Community Program. This wonderful organization delivers free mindfulness programs to support the mental health of underserved populations.
As many of you know, scoliosis has been my nemesis for a long time meaning chronic back pain is something I work with ongoing. Many years ago, I was told that meditation is a long known and proven antidote to physical pain. Being willing to try anything, I signed up for an 8-week program in effort to find an effective pain management solution. I found it to be incredibly helpful and was truly impressed with the organization, the staff, and the work they do. Along the way I also met some great people who were inspirational on many fronts.
This fundraiser generates money for those who would benefit from Mindfulness Programs but do not have the financial means to participate and represents a great opportunity to give to a meaningful cause. Any support you may wish to provide will but much appreciated by those supported by this fundraiser.
