How far do we go?

The route covers approximately 3 miles. It is an out-and-back route on the Huckleberry Trail.

If you are unable to continue while out on the route, one of our support vehicles will transport you to the next rest stop or ahead to the finish line, where you can rest and get medical attention if you need it. Your safety is always our first concern. With the route being an “out and back,” you can also choose to go less than the 3 miles.

All donations submitted to MMABC are non-transferable and non-refundable. How does the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation utilize the contributions?

The money we raise through events like the MMABC is used to provide Virginians with knowledge and a voice on the breast cancer journey. We offer individualized resource coordination, free breast health educational materials; newly diagnosed, caregiver, and survivorship packets; advocacy for improved health public policy and research dollars for the state, and funding for screening and diagnostic breast health services for uninsured and underinsured in SWVA.

What is a matching gift, and how do I apply for one?

Many companies (both large and small) offer employee matching gift programs. Encourage your donors to ask if their company matches gifts!
