Gavin Burns

Gavin was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma (a rare form of bone cancer) in January 2022 in his left tibia with metastisis in his lungs. Since then, he has gone through a grueling treatment including toxic chemotherapy and a below knee amputation to remove the tumor in May.

There needs to be more money spent on researching better treatment options for our children. We're incredibly excited to be participating in the “Young Heroes 5K Run & Walk" on October 23, 2022, to raise funds for the Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Nemours Children's Health, who has been treating Gavin this year.
