Brynlee's Battle Buddies

Together we can make a difference. 

Brynlee Elizabeth was diagnosed with Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Pre B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph+ PreB ALL) on October 5, 2016 at 4 years old. She is currently in remission as of November of 2016. Even though she is in remission, Brynlee had to endure 3+ years of chemotherapy treatments to assure that her leukemia won't come back. As of August 2022 -- Brynlee is 10 years old, going into the 4th grade. She has been off of treatment for 3 years now and will reach 6 years in remission in November. 

That’s why our team will be participating in the “Young Heroes 5K Run & Walk” on October 23 2022 to raise funds for childhood cancer research at Nemours Children's Health. Come one. Come all! Please join us and show your support for all the children faced with cancer or a blood disorder. 

Sadly, cancer and blood disorders touch so many children’s lives.  These little heroes need to endure harsh treatments and numerous days in the hospital.  They have to miss the little joys of childhood from playing on the swings, watching movies on the couch with their siblings, and even spending the holidays at home.

Our hope is that we will find cures and better treatments so they live long and healthy lives.  We believe every child deserves the chance of a healthy future.

Our team goal is to raise $1,000 and we need all our friends and family to join us.  When we reach our goal, we will receive a team tent and perks along the way!  You will have the option to run or walk the 5K!  In addition to the race, the morning will be filled with activities, food trucks, vendors, and lots of family fun!
