Because Cancer Sucks. We are playing for Aunt Carol and mom/Missi. And sadly there are others in our lives, as likely yours, that we’ve lost to cancer, too soon.

The pain sits with us each day, and participating in this marathon is a way to let out some of the pain, and channel our hatred of cancer into something positive.

We can’t go back to ‘the before time’ but we can make this effort in hopes of alleviating even the tiniest amount of pain of other families.
